Lads Need Dads
This piece was a collaboration between Luke and his dad, John Edgar. John created a stone element, which Luke incorporated into a steel structure, adding another facet to the overall feel of the sculpture.
This was a particularly poignant project for them to work on together as it was commissioned by Tendring District Council and Arts Council England, as part of the Youth Voice Project for the Colchester based charity, Lads Need Dads. This is an incredible organisation which supports boys growing up without a father figure by providing them with a safe place to go, as well as mentorship and community.

Mother Nature
These steel figures, blur the boundaries of human and natural forms, illuminating the interconnection of humanity and nature. As we co-exist, we mirror each other in cycles of birth, death and rebirth and in our shared resilience and ability to transform.
